At RJC Plant Services Ltd., we believe that every child deserves a magical Christmas. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the return of our festive fundraising event, the RJC Jolly Drive-Thru, in support of the Mission Christmas appeal. This year, we’re hoping to beat last year’s record of over two tonnes of gifts collected for children in need, and we need your help to make it happen!
Mark your calendars for Sunday 1st December, when we’ll be bringing festive cheer to the streets of Church Fenton. Starting at 4:15 pm in Saxton, we’ll make our way through Barkston and finally arrive in Church Fenton at 4:55 pm, just in time for the village light switch-on. Santa, his elves, and the whole RJC team will be there to welcome you and collect your gift donations to make Christmas brighter for children across North and West Yorkshire.
Why This Event Matters
This year, many families are facing financial challenges, and the Mission Christmas appeal is more important than ever. Through this campaign, we’re aiming to make sure as many children as possible wake up with a present to unwrap on Christmas Day. As Zena Jackson, our Company Secretary, puts it, “Lots of families are facing challenges this year, and we want to ensure as many children as possible wake up with a present to open on Christmas Day. The Mission Christmas appeal is a fantastic campaign, and we’re proud to support it with the help of our incredible local community.”
Our recent recognition as a finalist in the 2024 Yorkshire Post Business Awards for our charity work only strengthens our commitment to giving back. It’s an honor to be able to do our part for the community, and we can’t wait to see the impact we can make together.
